About Virtual Borderland

Virtual Borderland is a blog for fictional supernatural stories, in whatever medium – be it film, book, theatre play, audio adaptation, animation – it doesn’t matter.

This site will contain reviews, comparisons, essays, articles, links to primary material (where available) and possibly some original fiction. I have an interest in the different themes of ghost and supernatural stories and also in their history.

The name of this blog comes from the novelette by William Hope Hodgson The House on the Borderland. To see a review of the work that gives this blog its title please click here. I am interested in the transitory nature of ghost and supernatural stories which I think is encapsulated by the title (not to mention content) of that work.
